THE STORY

Through the voices of three mothers, the film reflects on what it means to raise children with a connection to the outdoors. Each story offers a different perspective on motherhood, but together they speak to the value of slowing down, being present and creating shared experiences in nature that can shape both their appreciation for motherhood and Mother Nature.

THE APPROACH

We approached the project with an intimate, observational style, allowing each mother’s voice to guide the film. Natural moments, outdoor environments and quiet details were captured with minimal direction, keeping the film grounded in the connection between motherhood and the natural world.

A woman and a young boy smiling and hugging outdoors with trees and greenery in the background.
A woman smiling happily while holding two babies, one older and one younger, in front of a window with a bright background.
A woman and a young man standing outside under a clear blue sky, holding hands. The woman is wearing a light blue tank top, patterned shorts, sunglasses, and a baseball cap, while the young man is dressed in a striped long-sleeve shirt and dark pants, smiling and looking at each other.
